The School of Public Policy and Public Administration at The George
Washington University provides a recognized research and education center
in the areas of public policy, public administration, public service,
and public affairs. Taking advantage of the University's unique location
and its faculty and research resources, the School pursues excellence
in academic programs, teaching, research, and service, The School also
collaborates with other policy programs to fulfill the mission of the
School.
The School of Public Policy and Public Administration maintains close
ties with the George Washington Institute of Public Policy (GWIPP),
a university wide research institute where faculty and graduate students
engage in research on important policy issues and concerns.
SPPPA is closely affiliated with other research and public service institutes
including:

The Center for Innovation in Public Service
The Center for Innovation in Public Service is a research collaborative
of the George Washington University and BearingPoint. The goal of
our Center is to promote excellence in public service through collaboration
with premier public service thought leaders across academia, business,
and government for the purpose of identifying and synthesizing diverse
perspectives in the public management community.
CIPS activities include research, publications, discussion forums and
other collaborative public service initiatives.
